Alright, now let's begin. I wish to start up a RP here in these forums. Open to anyone who wants to join. It is a pokemorph/hybrid RP of course, but it is a bit different from that of Jim's pokehybrid universe.

This story begins, just like Jim's, with Team Rocket. They have some of the brightest geneticists on the planet, and after the "Mewtwo" incident, they began to create more powerful hybrid ideas and forms. Finally coming up with the idea to change their own willing soldiers into pokemon-hybrids. But before their plan could come to fruition, their operations were thwarted by a combined attack from the military, the police, the elite four, and a large number of brave pokemon trainers. Having lost most of their main facilities, Team Rocket splintered. And the scientists who had the knowledge and the know-how to create the hybrids fled into the underground.

There they sold their knowledge to the highest bidder, and a new underground sport was formed, pokemorph fights. Something like the idea of underground fighting rings, but there were large organizations who began to create and fight pokemorphs for money. It was a huge success, and soon became a secret pastime for the wealthy. Of course anyone who would partake in the events was sworn to a code of secrecy, and anyone who was going to break the code was quickly silenced. And with the wealthy, a new organization appeared, known as "the Coterie" who offered to create your very own team of pokemorphs that will fight for you, of course at a steep price. Soon the wealthy began to buy and fight, having their own teams, that they would keep locked away from the public eye, to fight in the filthy arenas, while they turned a blind eye to a rash of kids and teenagers being abducted while on their journeys to become pokemon trainers, and a rash of mental diseases that began to plague the schools.

That is the main back story to this RP, and the main plot idea for this RP is this:

Coterie gains a lot of their pokemorphs through the kidnapping of kids in the wild, or through just kidnapping pokemon. But there are some customers that wish for every detail of their team to be just right, right down to the personalities of their team members. And for Coterie to meet these demands they must first begin to search out for the right candidates. And so they search the easiest to access databases, those of the schools permanent records. Also as it turns out, kids are much easier to be susceptible to the mutation process, as their bodies are still growing and changing, plus mentally a child is easier to control than an adult, though they do occasionally pick up a hobo or two for the process (if their customer is really cheap, that is).

Coterie is very thorough through the ways that the gain their subjects. While capturing normal pokemon does not need much grace, on the other hand gaining humans with no suspicion takes the utmost care and grace. If it is a trainer in the wild, they can edit the media and reports, creating fake natural disasters in the middle of nowhere that would easily have destroyed the subject. But kids who attend normal school, they take a different approach. Their main approach to gaining children from school is a very sinister plan. They use their own psychic and ghost type pokemorphs to make the child hallucinate, giving them horrible nightmares and make them see things until their teachers and parents don’t know what to do. The children are then normally sent to a normal psych-ward, after about a month of therapy there, the kids who seem to get better are set up. Usually a sort of stabbing or something of that nature, everything is perfect, even the cameras catch them “stabbing” the person. That’s when a man will step in and offer advice, and then give them a sanctuary for the crazed kids. The parents will of course give in, after all their only other choice is to have their kid tried for murder. The kids are set off to an island resort where they would be out of sight and mind of the parents, forever…

So this story will start out with that, the characters at the resort, kidnapped trainers or otherwise, and it will progress from there.
